An often misunderstood element of wellbeing in schools or organizations is that wellbeing is a targeted effort. Whether it is students, customers, clients, or staff, many teams make the mistake of thinking that wellbeing efforts should be focused on a section of the organization. Mike works with your team to understand that wellbeing is like air - the quality affects everyone, and to focus on one area is like using air freshener in the dining room while cooking fish in the kitchen. It will make things a little better in the short term, but a functional approach requires attention to the whole house. Mike works with your leadership team and any other stakeholders you can include to help build a framework of function for everyone.
With a certification in Positive Education from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, and experience implementing Positive Psychology / Education frameworks in many schools and organizations, Mike can partner with you to build a wellbeing initiative that works for all members of your organization.
Positive Psychology / Education is an incredibly well researched field that focuses on a strength-based approach to performance and function.
